Meet Our Founder
Joaquin Iglesias was born in Uruguay, a small country in South America. He moved to the United States at age 12 with hopes of learning a new language and building a better future.

After graduating from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Joaquin began working at a medical supply company, where he first discovered his passion for helping seniors. He later joined a value-based care organization, where he worked directly with Medicare patients to ensure they received the care they needed. Through this experience, he recognized how essential it is to educate individuals about Medicare.

Driven by a desire to better understand the system and help others navigate it, Joaquin obtained his health insurance license and became a licensed insurance agent. He believes that founding his own agency, “My Benefits Hero,” not only fulfills his dream of building a meaningful career but also exceeds his expectations by allowing him to help countless people find the right plan to meet their needs.
